A resident in the 1200 block of Lincoln Drive reported he got home around 6:30 p.m. on June 23 and noticed several items were missing from his home.

Items missing included a gaming system, laptop and other electronics.

There were no signs of forced entry. Detectives are investigating.

Birmingham police said the incident happened on June 19 at the Mobil Gas Station, located at 36101 Woodward Avenue.

The manager reported a minor approached their counter and attempted to purchase liquor using a fake ID.

When confronted about the fake ID, the suspect ran outside, where a female was waiting to pick him up in her SUV.

The manager stood in front of the vehicle in an attempt to prevent the two from leaving.

The driver pulled forward, striking the manager in his right knee, and they drove off.

Officers have the license plate and are pursuing the suspects.

Birmingham police said two teens are in trouble after they were caught trying to steal a bottle of liquor from the Mobil Gas Station.

Employees reported that two men attempted to steal liquor on June 20 from the gas station, located at 36101 Woodward Avenue.

The suspects, a 17-year-old from West Bloomfield and a 16-year-old from Detroit, attempted to conceal a bottle of Canadian Mist Whiskey in their laptop backpack.

The store's alarm sounded as the duo attempted to exit the store.

Officers arrived at the scene and charged the 17-year-old with third degree retail fraud and minor in possession. The 16-year-old was taken into custody, pending review from juvenile court.

A West Bloomfield man has been arrested after a Birmingham resident reported she was walking with her daughter on Maple Road approaching Baldwin when an unknown man approached them, grabbed her daughter's arm and verbally harassed them.

The incident happened on June 23.

The mother quickly grabbed her daughter's hand and began moving away from the man, who apologized and drove away.

Officers later located the man, a 23-year-old from West Bloomfield. He is charged with simple assault and will be arraigned this week.
